Lesson Leech test version: terms
© 2026 Lesson Leech. All rights reserved.
By ticking "I have read and accept the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy" in the app, you agree to these terms and to how the Privacy Policy says your data is used:
- It's for you only. You may install it on your own Mac and use it for your own lessons while the test runs. Don't let anyone else use your account.
- Don't pass it on. Don't copy, share, sell or publish the app, its files, its prompts or its outputs as a product.
- No taking it apart. Don't decompile, disassemble or otherwise try to extract the code or prompts, and don't build something based on them.
- It's a test version. It can make mistakes. Check anything important against your notes and your teacher. It comes with no warranty.
- Error reports and feedback help. After each lesson the app sends a short technical error report (never your lesson text or audio; see the privacy policy). You can turn it off in Account & privacy. Anything you suggest may be used to improve Lesson Leech.
- It can end at any time. The test can end, or your account can be switched off. Delete the app when asked.
- Recording in class is your responsibility. Ask your teacher before you record. Lesson Leech hears your teacher and the classmates near you: follow your school's rules, keep your transcripts private, don't share what other people said, and delete a lesson if a teacher or classmate asks you to.
- Fair use. The free time and any hours you buy are for your own lessons. Features have daily limits (for example Ask Leechy and answers checked online) so nobody can use them up for everyone else.
- 13 or older. Lesson Leech isn't for anyone under 13. If you're under 16, tell a parent you're using it.
- Paid plans. Lite, Plus and Max are monthly subscriptions. Each gives a number of lesson-hours a month and renews every month until you cancel. Plan hours start again at each renewal; hours left over don't carry over. Hours from a top-up last until you use them. Lite doesn't include answers to the teacher's questions (the answer function); Plus and Max do.
- Paddle sells the plans. Payments go through Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), Lesson Leech's reseller and the merchant of record: it takes the payment and charges the right tax, and its buyer terms apply to the purchase.
- Cancelling and changing. Cancel any time in Account & privacy › Manage subscription: the plan keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for and nothing more is charged. A change of plan starts straight away, with the difference charged or credited for the rest of the month. If prices change, you're told before your next renewal.
- Refunds. See the refund policy. Your rights under the law where you live aren't affected.
